Katie Gallagher is a native Texan, born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She attended Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where she was a student of the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business. She graduated in two and a half years and received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Music Business. Katie then continued her studies at Belmont University College of Law, where she focused on intellectual property and received a certification in Entertainment and Music Business Law. She spent her time in Nashville, Tennessee both as an undergraduate and law student interning and working for well-known music publishing companies and entertainment lawyers on Nashville’s famous Music Row.

After graduating from law school, Katie spent time traveling and living in both Europe and South America. After making her way to Austin, Texas, she began working for the Texas Senate and now enjoys combining all of her various experiences in her legal practice.

Outside of the office, Katie’s favorite pastimes include practicing and teaching yoga, kayaking, running, hiking, and trying out all of Austin’s best restaurants. 

Katie is licensed and admitted to practice law in the State of Texas.
